David Byars
David is a litigation associate with Kass Shuler, P.A., in Tampa, Florida, where his primary practice focuses on real estate litigation and the representation of lenders, loan servicers, investors, and debt collectors within the consumer finance industry. David handles civil litigation in circuit, county, and federal courts throughout the state of Florida, and he has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for both the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Since graduating from Stetson University College of Law in 2014, David has worked to hone his craft both in and out of the courtroom, and has spent the last 10+ years dedicating himself to aggressively advocating for his clients, while also continuously making efforts to expand his knowledge base to ensure that he’s well-versed and up-to-date on the best practices and strategies relating to the protection of creditors’ rights.
David is a native Floridian, born and raised in Plant City, Florida. He is also a fourth generation “Nole,” having completed his undergraduate studies at The Florida State University where he earned the dual degrees of a Bachelor of Science in Business Management as well as a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, in 2011.
In his time away from the office, David enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, whether that be playing a round of golf, exploring the state parks around the State of Florida, or just getting out for a run or a bike ride. David also enjoys traveling and, as an avid sports fan, makes an effort to attend as many sporting events as he can to support his Noles, Buccaneers, Bolts, and Rays.
